Puhkamisest väsinud (tired of resting) ehk EYP#ensf15 or in other words "Just chill"

I will write in English, so all the EYPers could understand.
Our cute committee

Well first of all, I did not like the event when we first arrived there, too many people, too many different languages and so on so forth. When I met my committee JURI (committee on Legal Affairs) I was not that impressed. I thought, that oh well I just have to survive those 5 days to get to the general assembly and then go back home again.

But as the time wore on I started to like being there a little more. On the first night I was not that impressed, but I tried to be happy and so I played some games with other delegates. Also we had an event in the evening at TTÜ where we played some games, but it was not that great, for me at least.

On the second morning, when it was again time for teambuilding I was already a bit more happy about being there. But it was actually on the second night I started to love my committee. I found out, that all my co-delegates were amazing. And of course, the chairpersons. We played some games on the second night too and had this competition where we made some groups with other committees and had to solve puzzles and run around the schoolhouse, but I had to go to sleep early because I had to be at work the next morning.

On the third day, the actual work started. We got together with our committee to figure out how to make keeping their personal data online safer for all the EU citizens. It was more fun than I expected. We all got really close to each other and took lots of selfies. We had an amazing time playing all the games including the train of love, buttspelling and passing the orange. And after our dear chair Karlis came up with the idea for what could be our committee song, I was convinced, that we have the best committee possible. We actually got a lot of work done and we did not have to stress about it at all. On our free time we also made the Baltic chain and sang out national anthems with the lovely Ausma (Latvia) and Ugne (Lithuania). Our chair Karlis just told us to chill and that actually worked. Panic never helps. In the evening there was the jubilee gala for 15 birthday of EYP Estonia. It was great to see all those talented people perform and also see some pictures and videos of previous EYPs. We stayed up very late that night, just playing games and talking. It was amazing.
Our lovely chairpersons Annemari and Karlis

On the fourth day it was time to finish with our resolution, which we did successfully on time, with no stress. We just chilled and were happy, played some games when we got tired of working and everything turned out just fine. Also we had some workshops which were pretty interesting. Also, our committee had some trouble accepting, that EYP was ending soon, so we played all our favorite games once more and sang our song really loudly in the corridor. We just stood there and had a group-hug for a long time just telling each other how amazing everything had been. And in the evening we had the fair well party at the NYC Piano bar. We had more fun just sitting at the table and talking with our chair and some committee members than dancing all the time to the awful music there, but at the end we obviously went to the dancefloor and danced and sang on the top of our lungs for the two last songs of the night. When we got back to the school, we arranged to meet at one o'clock at night to write the speeches and help each other out before the general assembly. I also have to thank all my committee members at this point for helping with my speech or just keeping my mood up that night. And my biggest thanks goes to Karlis, who stayed up 'til 4am with me to help me finish the speech and get it printed our and he also listened me practice it, thank you for everything, dear chair Karlis.

On the fifth day, we left the school very early to go to the TTÜ again for the general assembly. We were the second committee and our resolution passed. I was really glad about our work we had done. Also, the last meal together was so nice. And anyway our committee just gathered together everywhere we had to go we went together pretty much on every day of the EYP. Afterwards, when it was time for the first members of the committee to leave we had this huge hug and sent away the delegates with some good fair well words. Soon after that one of our chairs and some delegates had to leave again and we had the same group-hug thing and also we sang our song and did some buttspelling. Also, the chair broke his pants when he fell over because one of the delegates hugged him a bit too hard, then he just ripped up his pants completely and they were used to figure out who will be the next president of EYP and one Latvian guy won, because he caught the pants. When the EYP was finally over, the last of our committee, that was still there also hugged and said the final words. We really loved our committee, because we had the longest goodbyes, it was kinda sad to go home afterwards.

EYP all together was really tiring, but also amazing. And because it is my vacation week of school, i'm tired of resting, 'cause EYP was really intense, but also the greatest way to spend my holiday.I love our committee and I love the EYP in general. I hope to see you all again some time and if not, I wish you the best life I can imagine.

Lots of love to you guys.

And as usual I will end with a poem. And it will be the one I read on the jubilee gala, but translated, as I promised to Ausma. I hope it won't be awful.

To the god, Apollon
One woman told me,театр, это жисни!
And when they all,in the end
Stand up praising
Applauding and throwing flowers in the air
Then you understand, that acting is amazing
And writing plays even better
And when you after the "Hamlet" hold onto your head
And scream: "This ending is so wrong!"
Then you know, that the theater is life
(and life is a show)
And all of it together
Stuntmen, writers,
costume-makers and all the cheering voices
O tempora, o mores,
I will make sure already for tomorrow,
that in Estonia, theater, right away,
will be the only tradition and manner,
WE WILL BRING BACK THE HISTORY!
